Antique Mahogany China Cabinet Secretary Desk Bookcase piece measures approx 59.25 inches wide, 43.5 inches high, approx 25 inches deep and sits at approx 17 inches in height.
Antique Victorian Sofa Loveseat Settee. This is a RARE FIND becuase of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the late 19th Century during the Late Victorian Period Circa 1880 and was American made.
We have the matching piece on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. This piece sits on beautifully rounded legs on wheels. It has a BEAUTIFULLY carved backrest with floral Ancathus leaves all carved down the middle with open carved lattice work as shown in the photos.
The arms are nicely curved and crested and one side appears to be longer which is common to give it a recamier design. It has beautiful burl inlays over solid mahogany as well. The upholstery has a nice designer fabric in a semi satin finish.
Because of its size it makes for a beautiful accent piece that can be used in a hallway or foyer, living room, study and can be placed anywhere throughout your home and I PROMISE this piece will be a topic of conversation.
This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it and the upholstery needs to be professionally cleaned or recovered but overall its in excellent shape.
