• The trunk measures 34″ L X 21 1/2″ W X 12 1/2″ H Known as Cabin,Low Profile, Half Trunk.

Refinished Beauty from the late 1800’s.  This trunk is Strong,Solid & Secure. It has a Flat Top. It has a Marked 1892 Eagle Working Lock with working Antique barrel Key, original handles in excellent Condition. The canvas covering was removed to expose the beautiful knotty pine wood body.
It has a smooth surface. It has 4 Beautiful Oak Slats on the top, 1 on the front, 0 sides, 1 back. The hardware is strong and in great shape. The inside left original and cleaned a few small spots, A Nice Ship Print was added. It has it original tray Cover Department with Leather tab Button it Is marked with J.L. Brackett Co Portland.

Sweet Heart Valentine Day Gift for Him. Introducing “The Black Pearl” The old canvas was removed to expose the beautiful wood underneath. There are 4 slats on top, 2 slats on thefront, 2 in the back and 2 on the sides. It has 1 metal strap that run fromfront to the top. The lock is marked Eagle lock, The lock  plate is missing. Someone covered the hole with  Metal so it doesn’t affect it atall. They did a great job.

The oak slats are 1/2″ thick The slat clamps are 5 inches long. Instead of the usual 2 1/4″ The hinges are strapstyle very strong. Built in lid lifts in the draw bolts (Hasps). These areall indications of a well built trunk. The inside was Stripped and Scrubbed clean and sealed. We added a Beautiful print of a Clipper ship ” FlyingCloud” with a nice black border.
