• Baker Furniture Mahogany Leather Top Drum Table measures 32 inches (81cm) in diameter, 28 1/2 inches (72cm) in height.

Offered today for your consideration is a fabulous 1950s Mahogany Drum Table.  This is a truly nice piece in overall good condition with a minor amount of wear and tear (commensurate with age).
There are a couple of bump and briuses to the table top.  The table has a single drawer, but it ppears to have four drawer fronts (four brass pulls/handles). The center column is stunning - highly turned - with a swirled carved base.

Manufactured by Baker Furniture known as one of the premiere furniture companies in the United States is made of mahogany and highlited with lighter woods that are used for the inlay give the table a exceptional look.

The table does have two drawers. Over the years, I have sold many drumtables, but this is the first one that has had 12 drawers pulls or handles - which one is missing. The top of the table is covered in hand tooled leather. The table is marked Baker, on the inside drawer. The table sits on wood casters.

The overall condtion is good. The leather top does have a larger water mark, and a smaller water mark. There is a scuff to the leather along with normal knicks and dings for a table of this age. The finish or patina is nice. The table surely could use to be rubbed out with wax or Howard’s Furniture polish.
