The best aesthetic style walnut Victorian bedroom suite we have ever offered for sale. The dresser has a thick unusual colored marble top. The top crest has intricate carvings of winged griffins, fruit, and flowers. I have included many photos to show the extensive detailed carvings on all pieces.
The beveled mirror sits in a carved frame. Wherever there is no carving the designer of this suite included both raised and inset burled panels. The drawers have the original heavy cast brass hardware set into burled panels. Notice that even the sides of the case have deeply beveled burled face panels.
The full size bed is exceptionally well constructed and matches all the wonderful elements of the chest. The footboard is of unusual thickness and has a curved burled top. Both the footboard and headboard have thick rectangular horizontal raised panels with lovely bookmatched veneer fronts. Even the rails have extraordinary burl and carved decorations. The headboard comes in two parts making for easier maneuverability.
