Beautifully constructed vintage teak table chest from Denmark. Classic Danish Modern design features sculptural legs and pulls and an overall streamlined appeal. This is a 3 drawer stand, which are are dovetailed. The top drawer locks and comes with the original key.

Nice craftsmanship and with lots of attention to detail. Fabulous teak wood grains-Good condition, does however have a few slight cracks on the very end of the top (see close up) and this has made the top corner buckle a bit.

The piece is comprised of wonderful warm teak wood and teak wood veneer over solid real wood. It is very well made and incredibly functional. Note the top back edge has a lovely curvature shape.

The chest features a table top surface with three drawers below. The drawers have a really cool integrated handles and the piece is a great compact size to fit just about anywhere in your modern home (Entryway, Hall, Dining, Bedroom, as a Bar etc.)

In overall very nice condition and is all original. It oiled up very nice and the teak is nice and inviting. The top surface has a number of subtle ring and partial ring type marks etc. that will easily blend away when you place some items on on it. Otherwise if you want it to be perfect, a light sanding and staining is all the top would need.

Superbly designed mid-sized entryway cabinet. Chest of six drawers suspended between the angled, sculptural side legs. Brass fittings extend the legs outward for a visually stunning effect.

Spacious, fairly compact and suitable for just about any area of the home including entryway and hallway. Six drawers to accommodate all the everyday items to keep handy. Elegant, simple and well designed for the Modern home.

Well made with good attention to detail. All wood construction without any pressboard. The legs are solid pieced wood that are attached to the cabinet via brass fittings. Wood is unknown but the color and grain blend with any aged teak pieces you may have.

Within the brass tube are screws that will allow us to unscrew the legs for shipping - you just put the legs back on with a screwdriver upon arrival. Each drawer has a rounded pull handle.

The bottom of each drawer has a wood detail spacer. We are undecided as to whether this was a function or a nice design element. Dovetailed wood drawer fronts. This has a sticker in the drawer that is dated 1960. We believe this cabinet is of Northern European origination.

Condition - Overall in good shape and ready for use. Some wear on the cabinet edges and small nicks. A couple of small darker stains on the top.

We note the following - the handles are solid and functional but have quite a bit of wear and pitting. These are standard size so you may wish to replace these with something a little more spunky in the future.

The biggest thing to note is the repair of two 1/4″ diameter drilled holes in the top of the cabinet. We believe this may have held a mirror at one time but is long gone. The repair is fairly good but noticeable. Drawers have some little stains inside. Drawers close about 1/8″ from flush. None of this takes away from the overall appearance of this simply wonderful chest.
