Fabulous set of eight solid mahogany dining room chairs

Description: Fabulous set of eight solid mahogany dining room chairs. The tops of each chair have a open carved crest with a winged griffin on each side. The sides and skirts of each chair are carved. The front feet end in claw feet. There are two arm chairs in the suite with a lions head at the end of each arm.
They were reupholsered about fifty years ago. We could have them done in your fabric for an extra fee. There is a good chance these chairs were made by R. J. Horner, NYC but we are unfamiliar with this particular style. This is just the set you would want for that ornate Horner dining table! Suites of eight in good original condition are hard to come by!
