Fine quality walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival half commode. This piece features a most unusual beautiful original onyx top. The top section is a supported by four shaped fluted columns. There is a drawer on top and a cupboard in the bottom.
There are raised shaped burled panels on the drawer, door and cut corners. Some of the corner burl is chipped. The drawer has an original tear drop pull. All corners have carvings and the back is finished. It has the original brass castors. This is an unusual style for a half commode from this period and the onyx is an added bonus!
