This beautiful Georgian oak harness cupboard has a moulded cornice above three cupboard doors with moulded edges, brass handles, brass key escutcheons, key and one working lock. The left and right interiors have original hanging pegs and later central hanging rail.
The central interior has two fixed shelves above two small drawers, above a central cupboard door and flanked by reeded columns and has a secret drawer within the cupboard. The lower section has three faux drawers above four drawers with original brass swan neck handles. The piece stands on beautiful shaped bracket feet, has canted corners, panelled sides, original backboards and is of a pegged construction.
The piece is a rich medium/dark oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
