Gorgeous Round Marquetry Walnut Tip Table with lovely leaf and floral inlays, scroll work, petite inlay, with burl border on the top. The top itself may be tipped vertically or securely fastened with the original sliding notched mechanism.
The base has three wonderfully carved open mouth (with tongues!) winged griffins. Notice the bulbous carved chests and large ball in claw feet, all executed with exceptional attention to detail. This beautiful table is a rare form of fine Victorian walnut marquetry furniture.
