Great set of six massive quartered oak dining chairs

Description: Great set of six massive quartered oak dining chairs. The top crests are open carved with open mouthed lion heads on the side posts and a “happy face” in the middle. The skirt and turned legs are carved with the latter ending in well defined claw feet.
The stretchers are elaborately rope turned. The suite includes one armchair with a carved head at the end of the arm. This is a heavy fine quality set of chairs! The chairs were reupholstered by the previous owner.
