Description: Magnificent Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian dining table with two original 17″ leaves. The skirt has raised shaped burled panels separated by fancy carved buttons. There are four incised carved drops under the skirt.
The base features four bold columns with incised carvings and raised burled panels. The middle of the table splits apart when it is opened and a burled panel hides the seam when it is closed. The table has super heavy chestnut runners and opens to a total of 16′.
Extra leaves could be made and center leg restored for an extra charge. It sits on original brass castors. A great table incorporating many of the stylish elements of the Renaissance Revival period!
