Magnificent Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian hall closet
Circa: 1870
Dimensions: 99″H x 59″W x 21″D
Finish: Good restored original
Magnificent Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian hall closet. In the last thirty years of business we have only had one other similar cabinet! The top has an ornate carved crest. There are six turned hat pegs attached to a full column on either side of the central arched mirror.
The bottom of the cabinet has an umbrella or cane cabinet on each side with a iron drip pan (replaced) on the bottom. There is an original marble shelf under the mirror with a drawer under that with ring pulls. The entire cabinet is profusely decorated with burled panels and columns and carved rosettes.
The sides even have inset burled panels. The interior of the closet has just one shelf but could easily be custom fitted to your specifications. The cabinet is in good original finish and some restoration has been done to it.
