Meeks Solid Rosewood Rococo Server
Circa: 1850
Dimensions: 60.5″H x 37″W x 17″D

Description: Exceptional quality solid rosewood Rococo Victorian server attributed to Joseph Meeks, NYC. There are four original rectangular mirrors in the open carved crest and two oval mirrors in the cupboard doors on the bottom.
The mirrors and base are bordered by a fabulous ripple molding that was commonly used by Meeks. The top gallery is open carved and the two shelves are held up by carved supports. An original white marble sets on top. There are some normal stains on the marble. There is a shelf in the interior of the cupboard. The rosewood grain on this piece is spectacular!
