This gorgeous RJ Horner Hepplewhite inlaid mahogany desk chair is the perfect piece to furnish your little corner of the world. It came fresh out of a fine estate and dates from around the early 1900’s era. A rare find made by R. J. Horner of New York.
Horner is very well known for their high quality furniture and is sought after by collectors. We also have the signed RJ Horner Hepplewhite inlaid mahogany secretary desk for this chair. Both the desk and chair are listed separately for a 1 cent bid and NO reserve.
It is beautiful chair with line inlay and Hepplewhite carved detail on the chair back. The seat is shaped for comfort over inlaid square tapered legs. Made from solid mahogany. The chair is signed with the “R. J. Horner & Co.” paper label - only the better makers sign their pieces.
This desk is in very good condition, sturdy, solid, original finish, and will be the perfect addition to your home or office.
