Rococo rosewood Victorian center table
Circa: 1850
Dimensions: 30″H x 45″L x 24″D
Finish: Good original
Rococo rosewood Victorian center table with an original white inset shaped marble. The skirt has a curved skirt and applied moldings and a large carving in the middle on all four sides. The legs have finger and applied carvings and the original castors on the bottom.
There is some very minor loss to the carvings on several feet. Four curved stretchers with “S” scroll carvings support a wonderful open carving in the middle. This table has very unusual dimensions - being quite narrow for the length. It would fit into many spots that more conventional tables would not be able to.
