Description: Magnificent Set of Six Early Victorian Rosewood Chairs that can be used in the parlor or the dining room. They have open pierced carved curved center splats with two open armchairs and four side chairs. They have finger carving along the perimeter of the backs, each with beautiful, individual carved cresting (all different) with fruits, nuts and flowers.
The needlepoint seats are lovely in assorted colors and floral motifs (they are old but in fine condition and useable). Wonderful quality on every level, these chairs are in fine original finish with a warm, original patina. These rosewood chairs have always been taken care of and treated like a prized possession.
