Description: Set of Twelve Victorian Walnut Dining chairs featuring two host armchairs, nine side chairs and a youth chair. The youth chair is similar to the side chair but the seat is a couple inches higher.
The chairs have deep shell carved top crests with scrolled incising and nicely turned legs and center stretchers. There are flat spindles on the backs of the sidechairs that are decorated with round rosettes. The chairs were upholstered by the previous owner.
They are structurally sound with one very old repair to a chair back - see photo. The finish is old and varies from good to fair original. It is VERY RARE to find such a complete set of twelve matching authentic American Victorian walnut dining chairs!
