Bar Stool Reviews: By the time you reach almost 50 and have spent 20 of those years in the accommodation industry, you’ve handled your share of furniture. We purchased 8 of these chairs and there are no complaints and only 3 very minor issues.
Packaging=100%, Strong design=100%, easy assembly=95% (The chair bolt together like a military tank with just about a dozen bolts. The only improvement is that a allen wrench other than the one provided… such as one used with a 1/4″ drive ratchet, makes it a breeze whereby the supplied wrench makes it tough in some of the tight spots.), Finish = 100% (These are made to look aged and it is well done and well sealed over), workmanship = 95% (1 of the 8 chairs had a double dowel pinned leg joint that missed getting glued. A quick pump of construction adhesive and some tap overnight was all that was needed. Also, we replaced the very cheap small plastic feet as with my +200 pound weight, the vinyl floor would get seriously dented.)
We also sprayed the cushions with Scotch Guard. Over all we’ve lived in these chairs for almost a month and they are not only good looking but solid and functional.
