Glider Rocking Chair Review: I am relatively happy with this chair, but this wasn’t the perfect recliner that I had been hoping for. The cushions are comfortable, but thin and rather stiff. Don’t expect to sink into soft, cushy, leatherette heaven when sitting down. Finally, and most importantly, the recliner does not recline particularly far. You won’t get anywhere near horizontal on this chair. It’s comfortable, but think “economy airline seat” with respect to the angle to which it reclines. This chair is primarily a rocker and it performs exellently in this respect.
Negatives aside, it’s a fine chair. It seems to be very solidly built. It ships fast and is a comfortable rocker. My pets fight to nap on it. I risked ordering the “plum” color, because I wanted a darker chair that would fit in with a dark brown decor. It turns out that the “plum” color is essentially dark brown- with no hint of purple or red- which was perfect for me.
