Factory fire destroys furniture store

The blaze broke out shortly before midnight at the Furniture Spot store on Great Eastern Highway.
Police believed the fire was lit deliberately.

Furniture Brands to switch to operating company

Furniture maker Furniture Brands International Inc. said it is switching to an operating company model from a holding company structure and will move to a new world headquarters in Clayton, Mo.
After the market closed Thursday, the company said it will employ about 225 employees after the move.
