Fast becoming a part of the furniture
Oliver Moloney has just opened his latest Instore furniture shop, but he already has plans for two more.
Instore’s roots reach back more than 20 years, when Moloney and his brother first traded furniture from their family home in Ardnacrusha, Co Limerick. They opened their first store on Patrick Street in Limerick in 1988.
That store no longer exists, but there are two Instore shops in Limerick and outlets in Galway, Sligo, Waterford and Cork. The recently opened shop in Stillorgan, Dublin brings Instore’s reach to seven stores, giving it a nationwide spread after two decades.
‘‘It has taken us 20 years to get to be a true Irish company that has nationwide coverage,†said Moloney, who is optimistic about the company’s prospects, despite the economic downturn. ‘‘We now have a structure that will support growth long into the future.
‘‘We feel that the customer experience we provide is the best in the market, and we are now getting the second generation of customers coming to shop with us. We have the best price and quality, and we are willing to stand over that.â€
Instore sources its furniture from Britain, France, Sweden, Italy and the Far East, and incorporates natural materials such as leather, wood and wicker.
