Legare 48 Straight Desk Review: I just received
this desk in the mail, but felt the need to review it here, since lots of people read Amazon reviews. This desk is great. It really does assemble quickly, and it seems very sturdy. I will have no problems whatsoever taking this thing apart, moving it and setting it up again. great for students, or people who anticipate moving quite a bit. It also seems very sturdy, and I am confident that it will hold up for several years of heavy use.
One thing that may be an issue is shipping. Mine came packaged in the original Legare packaging, and the desk was not damaged at all by the shipping. However, the styrofoam protecting the pieces somehow disintegrated during shipping. When I opened the box I had pieces and flakes of styrofoam everywhere. I had to vacuum the individual pieces of wood, the floor, the walls, the hallway, myself. So if possible, you may want to open this box outside.
