Troubled Berkeley Youth Find Outlet in Furniture Decoration
A new non-profit in Berkeley is creating some unlikely artists out of homeless and at-risk youth.
Youth Spirit Artworks is a new non-profit–patterned after a similar program in New Orleans.
“We are involving youth in learning about commercial art through painting chairs,” said the group’s Executive Director Sally Hindman.
